Well, I mean, there's always Gamefly to test your games out before you buy them. Unless you're talking about PC games specifically. Then I'd corroborate this.

Oh yeah

Hey dude can you help me get my 3DS modded lol

I'm a content provider; I create videos, animations, music, and other sundry that we all consume. I provide my stuff for free and gather advertising dollars rather than consumer dollars, so I honestly wouldn't be too phased by piracy using Mega.

Music licensing isn't really about demand. Just to use a song in a work is a flat price based on the type of work and how many copies will be sold/viewed. I doubt the issue is cost related, but if it is, it's probably that, given this is a downloadable title, licensing more music outside of what they've already done

This is a really cool idea. It'll give some people the push they need to learn software that will actually get them somewhere, rather than only unlocking them in video games.

I just personally disagree with that decision. I know it's essentially the same, but it feels like less content to me. And the aforementioned revoicing. Bleh.

With a bunch of censorship. I know I sound like a teenager that this bothers me. But it really does. Not to mention many of the redone voiceovers are pretty terrible. The Great Mighty Poo stands out as a good example of a terrible do-over.

If you're expecting Banjo 3, you'll be disappointed. If you take it as it is, it's a fantastic game. I was initially disappointed, but as I kept playing I grew to really enjoy it, though I'd definitely prefer another platformer.

Didn't sound appealing to me either. Nor Kameo. Then I tried them.

Double weird post.

Banjo-Kazooie Nuts & Bolts and the Viva Pinata games were excellent, even if I'm still sore we never got Banjo-Threeie. I don't think Rare would have done much better with Nintendo. They'd probably be stuck on Donkey Kong duty for the rest of their lives.

I never said I think music should be free.

Where do you get that idea? If people aren't being paid to make music, they're either not going to make it, or will make it for the love of the art. In that case, it has the heart and soul that makes music worth listening to.

It's mostly ad revenue, actually. But you're very right.

I don't know, man. It may be anecdotal (as may be your evidence), but my friend's band tried selling their CDs and got nowhere. As soon as they found out their shit was being torrented (to which they were originally opposed), their concerts began to sell out. The correlation may not exist, but it can't be said with

Canada is a great country and easy to get into, but it's too cold for me. I was thinking Australia, but I'd have to get a regular 9-5 to gain citizenship there and I've worked too long and too hard to have to work another regular job. I guess if this country goes ass-up, I'll go be a farmer back in Spain with my

"I sign this NDAA with serious reservations."

It is Colin. Interesting connection. I think I also often make assumptions about posters, at least as far as their voices, based on their avatars. But nope, I'm a Spanish-American with dual citizenship. And unfortunately, neither country does it for me at the moment.

Thanks guy, I know politics pretty well. As such, I know Ron Paul. If I were to vote at all, it would be for him, but while I like a lot of his ideas, just as many are too batshit insane for me to want to support him.
