Wasn't there an article by Kotaku when the Kinect came out that said something about it costing Microsoft all of $40 to manufacture a Kinect? It's been a year and a half. I'm calling you the fuck out, Mikey. This is a moneygrab, ain't it?

To be honest, if you're not a part of the solution, you're against us. Neutrals burn with supporters.
I really like this idea, but I hope to God it isn't a day I have to go anywhere. Trying to decode the LA Metro system without Google Maps is like trying to read hieroglyphs for the first time.
The people you're quoting are ignorant loudmouths. They would be ignorant loudmouths in any country. It isn't a product of them being Americans.
While I agree that I'd like to see some action on Gawker's part, not everyone checks Kotaku daily. Additionally, seeing more and more articles about SOPA keep it fresh in people's minds for our own actions to be taken.
Oh yes... obviously...
This is pretty neat. Like Geometry Wars meets Elektroplankton.
Ah. Kotaku's writing made it sound like it were.
I'm fucking hungry.
I'm surprised people were mad enough to do this.
Exactly. When DS games were still coming out, I downloaded new ones to my flash cart and bought the game. I'm not that well-minded, though; I usually resold the game unless I wanted to give it as a gift or keep it as a collectable.
You may not appreciate Spirit Tracks either, just because they're very similar games. It's only better because it offers some variety and the puzzles are more interesting. But they're brother games for a reason.
It's actually less polygons, but they're rounded. Patch modeling.
As far as art style in Zelda goes, this is one notch below OoT3D for me, but Link's pigface is still unsettling to me.
I was surprised too. Especially since Spirit Tracks is a much better game, but both of them suffer from the terrible controls.
So... his tastes are discounted because they aren't hipster enough?
I'm sure there are plenty of hackers that do stuff specifically for homebrew development or just to see if they can. It's the pirates that use those means to... pirate.
It's partially Bethesda's bad. The online community didn't record that line, insert it into the game, then not have the foresight to notice that it would be overused within the game.
Linearity isn't a bad thing in and of itself. It's only problematic when it's linear and monochrome. Portal's levels are well-designed and different from part to part. This isn't like Final Fantasy where you're slogging through the same hallway tapping through the same menu to grind your character to overcome…
