Porky's was on tonight. A grossly underrated 80's flick. It was my first R-Rated movie. I watched it at age 7 with my older brother who made me turn my head during certain scenes. FWIW I am 37. What was your first rated-R flick?

The Fans were just never allowed to participate. Even Sunday for the kids race, it waa usually the same bratty kids that were offspring of the front office. So I'm told.

Glad you mentioned it, 'we' were just discussing it. Alcohol was strictly forbidden by participants of the race as one would have to sign a waiver if they injured themselves. But if a racer injured somebody else, the team, the park, MLB, and God would be liable for a large number. Fun note, on games that went 14

Yes, I actually remember that thread. It was a Good read. Made some of you monsters seem human, if only for a minute.

I was going to go with the term we fondly used for my Grandmother but they wouldn't allow When_Will_This_MegaCunt_Die! So I went with a vague Family Guy reference

True story here. A 'Close Friend' took the job as a Promotion Assistant with the Brewers shortly after the 'scandal'. This guy is a huge Cubs fan but they weren't hiring. One of his main focuses was the sausage race. He was surprised at how seriously the team took the race. Piech was canned for doing media. A runner

I guess I forgot I was making comparisons. But Ok, the Cubs suck. Tell me something I don't already know.

Kobe is the unplanned unwanted enema

Maybe they just need to hire a new burger Artest to freshen things up a bit

Sounds like Stuttering John has found employment

+1 That's just great!

The boy, David Dravecky, from Akron told doctors he felt a slight twinge in his left arm. Doctors said it was probably nothing to worry about.

Did someone say Dinner?

'Thank You'

Let's try to clean this up a little bit.

On a somewhat related note, I occasionally wager on baseball and did have the Reds tonight. That said, given the number of pitches thrown and fanfare tonight, do yourself and put the entire trust fund on Homer's next opponent. The numbers on this are ridiculous.

World According to Garp was an interesting flick which made me afraid to get freaky in a car for a couple years.

While I melt away in a city that hit 117 today, when Robin Williams departs the Earth, is this the movie he will be most known for? I thought Awakenings was fabulous fwiw.
