Ha, I’m the opposite, I always pack a swimsuit in case there’s a pool or hot tub at the hotel.
I actually do wear makeup more often when traveling, it’s like the only time of year I am in any pictures :P But I still pack waaaay too much. I should follow kcunning’s thoughts on it and just bring the basics...
You can totally add dijon or stone ground mustard to mac and cheese, boxed or home-made. Heck, it’s good in a lot of casseroles!

Or even hand wash. I do that a lot for sweaters and scarves. There’s a few fabrics that can’t handle even that, but it’s a rare item I consider truly dry clean only. (Suits, especially wool ones, leather stuff, and high quality silk items are definite dry cleans, just putting that out there.)
Oh man, one of my rental apartments had that, and it was great, I could even wash my sweaters in there (only a couple at a time)!

Oh my god, yes. I am pretty frugal. Get everything tailored. Pants, shirts, jackets, everything. Making things that fit you at the shoulders or waist but are too long otherwise is easy for a tailor. It’s not expensive if you find a good place. You can even get jeans re-cut so they fit right though the knee and calves.
