Well, in theory anyway. It may have varied game by game.

Ah, yes. That is what I would call a textbook example of false equivalence. It also has nothing to do with my point. Read more

I put Yakuza: Like A Dragon into my Xbox Series X. It installed the Series X version with no questions asked. My saves from the Xbox One work with no problem.

Are you missing my point intentionally? Because it’s pretty fucking clear. Kingdom Come: Deliverance has a lot of baggage around it. It was directed by a GamerGater. It was specifically made to exclude people of color and women and hid behind “historical accuracy” to justify it. Nevermind that history is more diverse Read more

It wasn’t a “shitty twitter account.” What it was was the fact that the director is a GamerGater and actively made a point to make the game with his right wing politics in mind while hiding behind “historical accuracy.”

Yeah, nothing supremacist about the game directed by a GamerGater who actively made a point to exclude people of color and woman in the name of a very specific, anti-progressive, definition of “historic accuracy.” Read more

Holy shit that is literally the opposite of what I said. Wow, you couldn’t have missed the point harder if you tried. Read more

I don’t think it’s fair to assume that everyone who likes this game is a NAZI or a white nationalist. But there really are a lot of NAZIs and white nationalists in this game’s fanbase.

Funny thing about that. Decks have gotten so absurdly fast and aggressive because of Konami’s absolute failure to control power creep that very few Trap cards are even playable right now. Basically every playable deck in the meta right now is about building a board state that makes it so your opponent can’t even play Read more

That article was posted about two weeks after I posted the comment you’re responding to and there is no indication that this an all inclusive list. Also, if you had read the thread, you would have found that I acknowledged that we had later gotten further clarification.

I remember actually liking the Lightning Returns demo, but I have zero interest in going any further than that for one simple reason: It’s the sequel to the terrible sequel to the fuck awful Final Fantasy XIII.

ODST is a standalone expansion to Halo 3. The multiplayer modes it came were Firefight, which the MCC has the Reach version of, and a second disc with Halo 3's multiplayer with all of the map packs. So it didn’t have its own competitive multiplayer. Read more

Much of the problem with the writing of Kiwami and Kiwami 2 is their nature as remakes. Yakuza 0 is kind of the peak of the series after it built everything up over the course of 5 prior games. 0, 5 and 6 are my favorite games in the series in that order.

Like a Dragon’s a soft reboot. The events of the rest of the series happened, but it has a new lead, a new setting and a mostly new supporting cast. I’d highly recommend the rest of the series, but if you jump in with Like a Dragon, you’ll be fine.

Do you know how many people regularly played on Mars? Less than 5% of the player base. Bungie isn’t just arbitrarily selecting content to vault, they’re basing it off of what people actually use. Relatively speaking, no one plays this content anymore. Read more

It really is frustrating that people still hold mistakes Microsoft made seven fucking years ago against them. These are probably the same people who will tell you how “badly” the Xbox One did... when it did just fine by any measure other than direct comparison to the PS4.

And if you think that was substantial, then I have no idea what to tell you. Up until now, all we had heard about was the “top 100" PS4 games. That’s basically meaningless.
