Throughout this whole event she has always looked like someone who is in way over her head. I doubt this is what she had in mind when she agreed to the arrangement with Trump, and I wonder how happy she really is with the way this turned out.

I remember in taking a course on the history of the bible in university. Literally the first words out of my professor’s mouth were “the prosperity gospel is not a real gospel, it’s fraud invented by con artists. I don’t want to talk about it, I don’t want to hear about it, and if you believe in it, too bad.”

And almost completely opposite in every way from what Jesus actually taught. It’s an incredible disgrace that so many so-called Christians have bought into this utterly anti-Christian tripe because of sheer greed.

And then, at the end of a very long life, he would appear and gently tell you it was time to clean up your work space.

I live in the Bible Belt, and we have many prosperity gospel believers here. Not only do they think God blesses the faithful with money, they think He blesses the faithful with physical health, too. Got cancer? You didn’t pray hard enough, or believe deeply enough!

I could go for Tim Gunn as a personal savior. Whenever I was in spiritual need, he would advise me wisely, give me a hug, and tell me to “make it work!” I like it!

Of course she’s a scam artist; why else would Trump be attracted to her (well, I guess she does look a little like Ivanka so there’s that, too.) But you know what, as evil as she is, good for her! Her flock deserve to be ripped off! These people that go to these mega-churches, especially to the “prosperity gospel”…
