And the voiceover makes me feel like the show thinks I'm stupid. Oh, you have to assimilate? I wonder if the you-not-saying-you're-from-the-future was a clear indication of that?

I've never heard of ASMR/the videos until now, and I'm a general skeptic, but damn if those don't make my scalp all tingly.
Soothing, after that anti-Tetris perfection atrocity. ;)

Wow! I remember that book - I think my mom bought it for me.
I loved that there weren't pictures of women; they're absolutely right that you just inserted yourself in, relating to situations and working through understanding from your own point of view. How cool.

Goodbye, my favorite Orkan. Goodbye, Peter Pan.

Oh yeah, I forgot that I'd watched it more recently somewhere else. There's an outdoor-stage production on digitaltheatre that's pretty good.

Thank god Into the Woods is on Netflix. I'm going to have to watch it at least once a week before this.

Bless this one.

That is fantastic. Well done.

Didn't Lawrence Fishburne recently say that he wasn't doing full seasons of either show so he could spend time on both? Not like he has to be telling the truth, but it still keeps us all in the dark cliffhanger-wise, right?

EW so wins. I had to pause reading because I'm in a no-noise place, and I was full on snorting.

YUP. TOTALLY HER FAULT.

I had bought the book when I learned Kristen Bell was narrating the audiobook so I bought that too; I ended up reading along as she read. The story was pretty good (better than the movie, sad to say) and made me really excited for the next book in October.

I'm about an hour into the audiobook and it's really interesting and charming so far.

Code Name Verity
I'm almost done and, after the breathless first half, am dying for/dreading the ending. In a good way?

You could carry around a bunch of copies of Flatland to give to people. Wouldn't be that heavy. :)

Oh thank god! she's still as whiny but not as shrill.

And Jupiter better still get a hoarse-voiced actress. It made her sound even more badass.

True; it might be a mess of jumping to conclusions. But at least a double would understand why I love the things I love. That can be hard to find, haha.

Prestige-style?
