It’s a bullshit clickbait headline. That’s a concern and it makes this place shittier every single time. I swear I’m here due to some form of Stockholm syndrome, hoping it will return to something worthwhile. It’s truly a wasteland here and your “well other things are worse” bullshit adds to it.

Everyone here talking about Photoshop, I’m just petty angry about the beard. Shave your damn face, you’re Superman!

I was today years old finding out Rebirth was a game and not a remaster of the original. I feel pretty dumb.

I don’t even watch that many! I have serious issues with the style of voice acting for the most part. I do enjoy the odd show, like, I enjoyed Attack on Titan, at first. I just found a lot of it off putting, focussing on someone’s face during combat and hearing all of their inner thoughts is among the worst ways to

How have you found JoJo? The whole world was going crazy for it, when I watched it I was just very confused by the whole thing. I don’t think I even got to “stands” as I’ve heard them called. I want to try again, but it’s hard to get an opinion that isn’t some maniac fan without any ability to explain why I’m wrong

I somehow struggled through the whole thing. My eyes rolled half the time, fell into a deep sleep the rest of it. What a mess.

I have games on my switch that run under 60 and some that hit it just fine (odyssey, mario kart, splatoon in matches) and it’s pretty noticeable. I actually can’t touch BOTW on the switch not because it isn’t 60, but because it drops all the time, varies from about 20-30 in some spots. That’s far more distracting.

It’s definitely smoother though, I find it less visually confusing at those frame rates. At the same time, I’ll happily give up on other aspects of visual fidelity to keep that solid smooth frame rate. Graphics are nice and all, but imagine nice graphics and stability?

It still does, I was enjoying the tone and the rest of it, when all of a sudden, out of nowhere, performance would tank and never come back. I’ve been looking for a fix idly but may just give up on it.

Also, Neir Automata still runs like shit on PC. It’s doubly surprising when it’s not particularly graphically taxing.

Last two GPU’s for my and my buddy were bought from giant crypto rigs, absolutely zero issues. The one card we had an issue with had rust, from where we think they cleaned the dust off by washing them! That one got sent back.

Was that a typo? I think you meant “Paul W.S. Anderson makes a lot of shit”.

Sorry for correcting you, but I know if I said something like that, I’d want someone to help me out.

I found it good in No Mans Sky, terrible in Spiderman (both on PC). I don’t think I have any other games with the feature!

There absolutely is regular rumble on PC, which I think is what he’s referring to. I realise it’s using the same tech, but it’s just standard rumble, none of the haptic features enabled.

Most PC games don’t have dualsense response and many were made before the controller existed. They just use a standard rumble

For me it’s the effort made to stick it, even if the final result isn’t always there, he’s trying! More than many do in his position.

I’m not the biggest fan of his movies or whatever, but it’s hard to deny the infectious energy he brings to everything he does. Even if it sometimes falls flat, he’s always trying, trying to entertain, to make people laugh.

I’d rather someone fell short of that sometimes, rather than never trying. I say he is a

Hey, you don’t need to tell me, I liked it from the get-go! I stopped playing a bit after they added people and before they added the season board game thing.

and the picture won’t upload. Sigh.

I had a similar bug like this once, when the Pirate’s Life came out on Sea of Thieves, I also took video, it was kinda beautiful! This is the only screenshot I could find in the moment. Everything looked metallic and colourful, I’d have loved to reproduce it!

I seem to remember even the reaction to Fallout 76 being muted at the announcement time, I could be wrong though!

We all have it different and recency bias is a thing, but odyssey is so great, I have trouble putting others above it. Super Mario World is definitely in the right spot though.
