Probably not. The Blackwing makes 640 torques at 3200 rpm. Remember, we’re in the age of turbo engines tuned to produce torque at very low rpm which is why they generally outperform NA engine at everything, including efficiency.

That’s the point. If they want to make the Blackwing worth their investment, they should offer it as an option in the Escalade. It will still probably be a niche engine but it’ll improve the unit cost of the engine which they’re currently wasting.

BMW engines are wonderful? You ever owned one through it’s warranty? They might belt out good power and NVH numbers but they’re unreliable garbage.
