Ha! My Mom cooked the plastic bag of giblets in the turkey not once, but twice.

Could it be people with ADHD just need more stimulation then normal people?

It maybe possible to have a cable company install cable in your house, but it might cost a lot though. I knew someone in college who's family was doing this. They contacted Comcast, and got a quote. I think it was $400 dollars (ish) for Comcast to come out and dig a ditch and lay wires. If I remember correctly

Maybe they think that will make their kids get a doctorate??

I had a few friend live in Japan and they all said they lost a lot of weight, because you walk/bike everywhere.

It is hard to take "schools are brain washing the children" from a Scientologist.

FYI: Lactose Intolerance isn't an allergy it is an intolerance. So, touching lactose shouldn't be and issue. Digesting it on the other hand is a problem. Also, a lot of lactose intolerant people can eat cheese to some degree (I generally have no problem with it) because cheese has very little lactose in it. It is

I get the feeling she wants to be somewhat retired.

That is great if you have a lot of self motivation. I only make it to zumba and piloxing classes because several of my friends go. I never get the urge to work out at home. And I work harder in a class then if I was left alone to do it. So, not everyone needs a gym, but gyms are still useful for some of us.

It is like how today everyone conflates every bad thing ever with Hitler and the Nazis. "What you won't let me borrow this book? You must be the book Nazi!"

I don't think so. She just did the laundry differently.

Well it has been an issue from the beginning. My half of the electric is more now, then when I was living alone. But he is going to school and has almost no money, so I don't think he can really afford it. He should be done in January so he should be out soon-ish.

In terms of life skills, yes.

I lived with a roommate who did not cook ever. He ate pizza and Five Guys every day. On one had it was kind of nice because he never left dishes. But on the other hand, WTF? He was pretty thin though. I once cooked him a frozen pizza when were snowed in. I asked him if he wanted to make it, and he just kind of

For some reason hot water really racks up the electric bill. I only ever do one load in hot, my whites. My roommate always seems to be doing the laundry. So, I could only imagine the electric bill after he did all his wash in hot. Like holy crap, it would be cray. Like right now $50 out of $100 electric bill is

That sounds like my Mother. I've done my own laundry since I was 6. Once I got to middle school, I still did it, but I would often leave my clothes in the laundry room (because you know teen). So, sometimes my Mom would do my laundry for me. Which is nice, expect every time she messed up my clothes. I had stuff

Yeah, I had a female friend who's finance's Mother gave her a tea kettle. She was really mystified as what to do with it. We had to explain you boil water in it. She said her family always did it in a pot and why the f*(k does she need a tea kettle.

With people staying single longer you would think parents would teach their kids more life skills. I know it happens to both genders but for males it just seems like something parents don't even think about. I've known a lot of men who have no idea how to do even basic cooking or laundry.

My male roommate always has

Maybe there are none, or maybe they have stopped talking to the parents, maybe they are also terrible people?

I know someone who was adopted because the parents couldn't have kids. Then surprisingly they were able to have a biological child. Then they threw the adopted kid out. Which is really WTF?
