Before the Chunnel was built, there was an overnight train from London to Paris that did this called the Night Ferry. It took 11 hours to get from London to Paris. Eurostar does this in two and half hours now.

I think line waiting is a thing of the past for the most part whether it’s for the newest iPhone or to see a movie. I remember how long the lines were to see the prequels in the late 90's/early 2000's. 

Well, this article hasn’t aged well. RIP Chicken Soup for the Soul entertainment. 

That was because they weren’t paying the studios for the movies and the studios cut them off from new releases. 

Since this is a chapter 7 liquidation, my guess is that someone will buy the entire lot of old movies for cheap. I believe that they always sold off their old DVDs for pretty cheap when nobody rented them anymore. They only stocked newer titles anyway. 

I got a Disc Replay by me. I haven’t been there in years since I really don’t buy physical media anymore. 

It always feels weird to be the only person in the theater. I always think that the employees suspect me of doing something weird in the theater.
