Why announce they were going to release something today, then push it back? What is 5 days difference going to make?

They haven’t released any key dates or much explicit details about the new titles (for all I know, one or more of these will be mobile games), so that’s an argument I literally can’t try for.

So the hubris is that they announced they’re going to do what they’ve done previously before?

Well, they said that the next Trilogy for The Witcher will be released in the next 6 years...

Oh there’s plenty to criticize sure, and go for it. I’m just trying to figure out what in this ‘announcement’ (which amounts to ‘we do plan to continue to exist as a company’) you’re basing your “criticisms” off of.

Without sounding too harsh, I guess it’s nice to see that CPPR probably hasn’t learned any lessons from their past development snafus

Well, this is the best definition I found:

As someone who got the game at launch, and enjoyed it, but has repeatedly harped on its many flaws. You’re not wrong entirely, but you’re not entirely right either.

Glassdoor reports the average salary is above $60k a year. If they can’t miss a paycheck or two while they find a new team or a new career, that’s because of stupid financial decisions, not a lack of opportunity.

That doesn’t actually answer my question.

Got it. So you’re good with the 50/50 split, then?

And? Amazon has different business lines. And if they aren’t making money, they’re at risk off being shut down or spun off. Indeed, that’s easier for accounting to figure it out if Twitch *doesn’t* recieve special discounts. If Twitch does get discounts, then AWS has to figure out what their lost opportunity cost is.

streamers are upset because their revenue is getting cut and the explanation for why seems disingenuous due to Amazon’s ownership of both Twitch and AWS

Yeah, but between the blatant scam Nvidia’s running with the 4080, and everything coming out from the EVGA thing, I’d be more than willing to buy AMD instead as long as they aren’t blatantly evil and put out a non-defective product.

GPU’s made up 70% of their revenue. 70%...and no longer selling them will not affect their profit. Thats how little profit there was in it.

Red Bull is set at the moment power unit wise thanks to Honda. However, unless Honda comes back into F1, Red Bull needs to figure out development and manufacturing of the 2026 regulation engine. Partnering with Porsche would have given them both facilities and staff with experience to develop and build that engine. If

The last rumor about it I had heard bandied about is that Porsche wanted to replace Horner with their own guy. To which Redbull’s response was ‘how about no’, which is what was torpedoing the deal.

also what has Elden Ring to do with this?

It’s just frustrating getting lumped in with the rural parts of Florida.
