Hmm... Z for Zacariah sure sounds a lot like The World, the Flesh and the Devil (1959).

That's exactly it. Hatoful Boyfriend is clever and unique, both things that do not lend themselves well to cloning or repeating (which is kind of why I never bothered to see the Hangover sequels, incidentally). There's also a surreal quality to Hatoful Boyfriend using actual pigeons rather than the cartoony pictures

So, she's still got it.

And his company bought up by Putin's business friends. Crony capitalism is a bigger threat to the "free" Internet than libertarian fantasies of the overbearing hand of the state.

If you haven't seen him live, you should, even if you're not particularly a fan. I've been a huge fan since I saw him perform in nothing but black bikini drawers & boots when I was a very little girl (thanks mom & dad for bad judgment). Thanks for the heads up. This looked like a cheap clone attempt of Hatoful Boyfriend like the millions of Minecraft clones that flooded and continue to flood the market. Glad to hear it probably is.

I can't help but just feel like this is more industry (and by industry I mean the entire industry, indies included) copycatting. Something becomes popular and gets some press (in this case, Hatoful Boyfriend) and everyone wants to try and capture a piece of it.

That sounds like the basis for a kinda cool time travel movie.

Really? "Mon amie"?!?? You know, if you're going to rip off Hatoful Boyfriend, then don't say the SAME WORDS!!!!!

And the truth is she looks like shes barely aged past the last season she was Ensign Ro Laren on TNG which was 20 years ago when she was 30! They actually had to age her as Helena Cain as she was playing someone 10 years older than she was.

Yeah, it'll be nice to see her regularly on TV again; the outfit ain't hurting.

If we could only go back in time and make her Aeon Flux....

I'm torn. As much as I enjoyed Hatoful Boyfriend (and enjoy my Otome visual novels), a lot of the copycats (meat, sushi, bear dating...) did not have the original's charm and originality. This still looks like it could be fun, as it is about more than just weird dating. Murder mystery, yay.
