I used to be all over special editions, but nowadays everything has got them and they are usually not that great, plus I'm just turned off by all of the insanity with pre-ordering/special edition-exclusive in-game content. I usually just say the hell with it and either don't buy it at all, or go in full steam ahead,

I really hope they keep some Ayn Rand in the game. Not that I'd want a repeat of the first game, but I want to see what kind of comparisons they make between Objectivism and other philosophies, which are supposed to take center stage this time around. It was great to have a critique the first time, but now I want to

I wish more games referenced real-world quotes. For instance, MGS4 had at least a few, and the first trailer for Peace Walker was packed with them, even ones with the opposite of Kojima's intended message of the game. It's great.

I can always tell it's Luke by his grammatical treatment of organizations as plural instead of singular. Oh British version of English, at what can't you be more old fashioned? British English is like Danny Glover in Lethal Weapon with his traditional six-shooter, while American English is like Mel Gibson, the loose

Phew... for a second there I thought we were going to get that first ugly box art, but thank God we're getting the second ugly box art instead. #masseffect2

Well, McWhertor, how do you plan on delivering the bad news to non-American western civilization? #masseffect2

I thought the U.S. box art was a huge disappointment, especially considering Mass Effect 1's excellent cover art, but this is just as bad, if not worse. The other one was just action-heroesque and lacked an epic quality; this one is the same, but replaces action-heroesque with overcrowded, stupid facial expressions
