I'm not totally certain what peak human even is in a movie reality, but what he does in the new trailer seems to kind of push him over the edge into superhuman territory. Even by movie standards.

So Marvel is cancelling 30 odd books, some of which (like Thor) have barely begun, and many of which will clearly just be replaced with a new volume of the same name or a new iteration of the same character(s) books. And yet somehow DC gets all the crap for "constantly rebooting things"

If they can manage to consolidate all their X-men titles into one GOD DAMN title, I *might* actually start reading it again. I don't need anymore Super X-Men, X-Men Grande, X-Men Janitorial Support Staff or whatever.

Punching a dent in solid steel is beyond basic strong man abilities. Maybe you could argue the SHIELD doors with leverage, but that's just brute strength like the log.

But he didn't dent the vibranium shield did he? Just the regular steel shield? I'm not sure that's completely out of the range of human capabilities. And perhaps the 'security' doors were more like elevator doors, which are possible to open with some serious muscle.

Batroc was never meant to defeat Captain America. He was no match for a supersoldier... BUT he was able to give him a fight, in contrast to his henchmen. Batroc is a sparring partner. A little competition. That's all Batroc can be - and he knows that. He could have talked a bit more, but the fight wasn't bad.
