It served no purpose for the overwhelming majority of the film. Saying "oh, yeah, there's also this telekinesis thing happening" and showing someone floating quarters and then not mentioning it for the next hour and a half is not a good way to introduce a plot element that's supposedly central to the movie.

SPOILERS AHEAD.

Erm, Drive nearly made back its production budget in the opening weekend and surely made the production and marketing costs back during the course of its run in the United States alone.

I hated everything about it. It was so far removed from the feeling the series had that it felt insanely out of place. The scares were nonexistent and it didn't have a similar pacing to the rest of the franchise.

I was referring to the ending of the last movie, Paranormal Activity 3, not the original. I actually liked the original's ending (and its alternate endings, too).

Yes, but he's also attached to tons of other projects. I think he's on at least 3 projects right now.

The last one was good until that absolutely horrible ending, which pretty much killed any appreciation I had for the rest of the movie.

Matt Reeves has been attached to so many movies, though. Is he even available at this point with all the stuff he supposedly has in development? Those choices are actually not all that bad, though.

This is a joke, right?

I remember when this game was announced and thinking it sounded neat... I even looked for an update a last year and saw nothing. So I really don't have any belief they've gotten far with this project.

That's pretty awesome. Congrats to them!

My thoughts were the exact same as yours when I heard about this, Lauren: I don't really care for the plot (a bit of a mix between Heroes and I Am Number Four), but Cuarón makes it an automatic watch for me.

Early in article: "... requiring developer Arkane Studios to do a little bit of handholding to get them to complete the missions."

While I don't argue that games look better (the SOC is much better), you really didn't pick a very good way of making that comparison. You're not even comparing the same games. A valid comparison can't be made until old games are updated to the new screen.

I'm so confused as to why they defecate themselves. Meredith, we need a feature story explaining this plot element ASAP.

While I don't agree wit your reasons why it sucked, I wasn't impressed either. I felt the storyline was weak and unengaging, not to mention insanely cliche.

Have to disagree. In regards to the full context of the show, it was explained in a manner in which the girl could relate. The previous doctor had tried explaining it properly and she just wasn't getting it. Her analogy makes sense, even if it's one that's not as good as the Scrubs explanation (pointed out by other

Can't really say I'm anywhere near as optimistic. I do agree with some of your points ("Google Boy," for instance), but I think more major aspects of the show drag it down.

True, I forgot about that one. But I there were multiple really good ones for Quantum of Solace, too.
