@superflat44: They did budge on the physical switch...there's a section of the options screen to select its function now. Either mute on/off or orientation lock/unlick.

The process sounds extreme, painful, and expensive. But its a big step in the right direction. As someone who's had many friends get it, find out they have it, die from it, including some boyfriends while we were dating (thank god I haven't so far), seeing this actually made me start tearing up a little.

@whatne1wuddo: They also have manual media management available where you can drag and drop specifically the songs you want and put them in the playlist you want. iTunes really isn't that hard to use if you actually try it.
