I read it exactly as you seem to think she was trying to hide. "during the most recent season 21 teams employed people that had, at one time in their lives, were charged with intimate violence. "

Hey, no prob. I never thought I'd type any of that on Jezebel, cause I usually stick to Real Housewives threads over on Gawker :) I am a medical-type person who is interested in HIV/AIDS in all its aspects — gay and grew up in the 80s, so it's of a personal interest to me. Happy I was able to provide some info.

I love Jenny. She was a troubled, abused soul, who didn't want Forrest to see the darker side of reality, her side. While all Forrest experienced was light and goodness, all she experienced was darkness and pain. And she wanted to shelter Forrest from that pain, from the darkness that was inside her and in her

Ugh, cheerleaders. If they don't like it they can just quit sue to be treated like equal human beings because they signed up to be treated like shit should always have been in the first place. They can always get another job raise awareness of how poorly treated they are so that they can continue to do a thing they

I am not making a "less" or "more" bad argument. You are trying to conflate two different arguments. You cannot use Walt Disney or Volkswagon to prop up your point. There is a huge distinction between "separating creation from creator" and "re-appropriation."

It's from a Rodgers and Hammerstein concert. She really needs to do more hilarious musical stuff.

Well I hope you read the book because I'm not saying it's too commercialized. I love the commercialization of Christmas because it spreads the Christmas cheer. It's the most jolly holiday— obviously — on our calendar. It's wonderful.

If this David guy is actually Native American, fine, okay, whatever, but I don't think I'm out of line here in assuming that he, like so many other fucking Americans (I'm a fucking American), is like, "Guys, it's okay, I'm Native American! I totally have, like, a nanodrop of Cherokee!"

THAT DOES NOT MAKE YOU A NATIVE

I remember Olive Garden was the fanciest thing ever when I was a kid. We would drive 60 minutes to the city on the weekend and get us some Olive Garden. Also we would visit the mall!!! Those days were the most exciting days, because when you live in a town where your only choices are K-mart vs. Goodwill and McDonalds

Where I come from (Northern rural Michigan), you go to McDonalds for prom...unless you're really fancy. Then you go to WENDY's for prom! Those Wendy's snobs...

Thank you. I have a gift card to Olive Garden that I have to go out of town to use because I live in a town with a bunch of farm-to-table vegan restaurants I cannot afford (and also I'm Mexican; I don't believe that if it's healthy, it actually tastes good) and I'm pretty excited about eating me some OG.

"There is no one of-woman-born who does not like Red Lobster cheddar biscuits. Anyone who claims otherwise is a liar and a Socialist." — Tina Fey

"and a steak house with a fiberglass steer"

And if you happen to live in a flyover-country area where Olive Garden is the only viable choice for Italian, well bless your heart and enjoy the breadsticks.

You don't have Cheddar Bay Biscuts?! That makes me so sad. I'll bring you some from New York City.

Absolutely This. I grew up in central Indiana, and Olive Garden and Red Lobster were where you took your grandma for her 80th bday b/c that ish was fancy. It was a sign of respect. I live in a city with tons of great options now, but I still harbor a love for th restaurants of my youth.

Because it's no fun being pretentious when no one is around. You need an audience for her kind of bullshit.

The Hall family discussed this over dinner and they do not approve!

This is not a tale about the limited retail options for people who fall outside of the average range of sizes available to consumers, it is about the contempt and indignity that a teenage girl was subject to for taking up space in store where she was unwelcome because of her size.
