I have always felt bad for the guy. So much internet ire and venom leveled against the guy for well over a decade - thousands and thousands of people telling you that you suck? That’s got to fuck up someone psyche big-time.

Say what you will about the character he played, Ahmed Best did a good job. He was hired to do motion capture, and do a voice, and he did both to the best of his abilities. And given how wooden some of the truly great actors on that movie performed, it should be commended that every one of Jar Jar’s lines were charged…
