It shoots tiny, high-velocity batarangs.
Now that y0u point it out—wouldn't the goal of every lightsaber battle be the first one to push the beam down to the mechanical hilt of the opponent's sword?
I'm guessing we could see as early as Guardians 2.
I love seeing them beginning to flesh out the story of the original trilogy the way they did with Clone Wars. Except in this case they aren't fixing something broken, they're expanding something awesome!
I agree. Spidey sense says Rosamund Pike if they could get her.
Interstellar sounds like it's going to be yet another space movie that pitches everything scientific for a spiritual freak-out ending that thinks it's dazzling us by "revealing" how small were are compared to the great galactic cosmos, but is actually only managing to undo everything that's come before by going for an…
"Hey, do you mind if I Conner your Conner with my Conner?"

The Strange Change Machine beats out the Monster Maker. It contained both a vice and a hot plate. You would heat up the plastic, crush it (watch those little fingers!), then heat it in a plastic covered chamber. Fume-o-rific! Came with plastic tongs, but why not try using your fingers Corn-Baller style!
