The appeal was born in the 4 yrs between the release of the action figure and his plummet into the sand vagina. A generation of kids made up a bunch of stories about the dude based off of his few minutes in Empire and to a lesser extent the Cartoon segment of that terrible Holiday Special

It’s about the way the other characters treat him. When we see Boba in Empire Vader talks to him like he talks to no one else. Boba challenges Vader, “ he’s no good to me dead” And instead of getting choked out Vader offers Boba more money if the carbonite kills Han.

Yeah, talk about an overrated chump not being able to live up to the legend. He certainly never did in the films...

I like this idea a lot better than Boba getting his own show, but only if Temuera Morrison also shows up as old-man Rex in whatever episodes Ahsoka is in.

Interesting. I always hoped the spurred-sounding mystery figure was Cad Bane!

“Boba Fett will make a brief appearance in The Mandalorian season two. That’s the good news.”

They all seem to be suffering from Smoothfaceia.

It’s actually become even *more* of a miss after the final series of Clone Wars as Ahsoka knows that the Jedi didn’t just fail Anakin in a general lack of hugs way but directly put him in the perfect position for Palps to push him over the edge.

Please. We all know Boomer is a Sith Lord.

I’m reminded that the developers of The Force Unleashed asked Lucas to name one of the Sith apprentices in the game, and he suggested “Darth Insanius” and “Darth Icky.” Because truly by that point he had become Darth Allouttafux.

No, Vader always has the low ground.

Ah, yes. I fondly remember Darth Millennial’s many battles with Jedi Master Boomer

It’s not a plothole though. For all intents and purposes in this scenario, Ashoka is a Jedi. She doesn’t have the title, but the clones AREN’T droids. They can put two and two together, even when being “mind controlled.”

I wouldn’t consider it off track. It’s very reminiscent of the scene where Anakin waits in the council chambers. Essentially the beginning of the episode happens all in that afternoon/evening so makes sense it would have that same sense of foreboding and dread.

Anyone else get Blade Runner vibes from the first half of the episode? From the lighting to the score to the limited dialogue, it really helped build the tension. If this is truly supposed to be watched as a single movie, I feel like it got off track for the first half of this episode. If not, it was an excellent

Nope. I’m good. Love going to the movies with my kids and friends. But I don’t want a COVID combo with a large drink.

Well, short of putting it straight into an iv...

A while ago I read a theory that surrounding Filoni with grade-A talent for the Mandalorian to get him used to live action, and eventually hand Star Wars over to him, kinda like Kevin Feige for Marvel.

I can bake Discworld’s dwarf bread.
