Not sure this picture defines what you're going at. Especially, given your physical description. These guys seem more punk than anything.
EIN!
Technically, 5 more states total. W. California (where L.A. is) would be 'the real California', the rest would be 'new'.
Had to add:
Here's the thing about what I said: I know people that have the same amount of criticism to throw at mediocre-perhaps-bad media. But the things they consider worthwhile-perhaps-awesome aren't really that great in my eyes. Like, they're *OKAY*, but I really take exception with the fervor that they have against…
You must be a joy to hang out with.
Mission Accomplished....? Maybe then people will start practicing humility instead of hubris.
Anonymity. That's what makes it so hard, apparently. I can hardly see many of the raging social issues we have today if these people were all occupying the same space as those they denigrate and demean.
Don't let the rage wash over you. More marginalized people are becoming empowered by the opportunities granted by social media and the internet in general. Voices that have long been silenced by the masses are now free to be heard.
Let's also remember that POC, people of color, are not all just 'black'. Some people are conflating those two terms, when really a person of color is more accurately described as just non-white.
Good point, and I think we should all be more open to these possibilities. I personally have a dream (far off as it may be) of starting a black-owned development house and cranking out at least two or three solid game IPs that I've been noodling on for a few years.
To your point:
wrong culture, but relevant.
You win for the post. The artist wins for the image. If this is an actual series with story, I might have to get into comics again.
Derivative: I see a lot of Steve Smith in The Squid.
Have you ever heard of 'stop & frisk'?
So now the question is: how did YOU live for a century or more? Vampire? Zombie? Jesus?
We're often told that Midwesterners are socially inquisitive (Missouri is known as the 'Show Me' state, although I'm from Indiana).
Thanks. You're right, I could've Googled. But, young as I am, I come from an era where asking people questions is part of what kept society sociable, and kept logical fallacy at bay, if at least temporarily.
