Ah those ACTUAL real world, "everything on high" Recommended Specs? Seems like there's a HUGE divide between minimum and recommended, and I'm so use to the recommended actually meaning "the spec needed to play it above 10fps", maybe the day has finally come that publishers are putting proper specs on the box!

The ONLY reason I got rid of my 8800GTX very recently is that it blew up after 4 years. Through all that, it never really held me back (CPU was the main bottleneck in the system).

Alright, I concede to you on that point. Maybe I was a bit quick to use the term publicity, when I should of said fan interaction. We get very little of that side of publicity over here. Granted we're a much smaller viewer base, but consider how many fan Q&As, screenings and reveals are done in the US compared to

Fair enough, turns out there was a press screening that had incredibly limited, only winnable public seats from what I can find, but you have to admit, even besides the US screening (which was completely open to the public mind you), they seem to have far more publicity and meet n' greets and the like than I think

Bloody hell Beeb, this is one of the few huge British show. Why do we not get any of the publicity love? I wanna go to a preview screening this side of the Atlantic *sulk*

Ah, the days of installing Doom 2 with 15 floppy disks, one of which had a slightly bent slider, so got jammed in the drive. That was a fun afternoon.

Adam Baldwin and his fluffy hat will protect all of us. I'm the same with that scene, it freaks me out a little (Aliens are generally my one big fear, but I also absolutely love anything involving aliens. I blame the X-Files for screwing me up).

I'm holding out for Zelda in the hope of a special edition before getting one myself, but a friend bought one and had the quickest turn around on a console I've known, taking it back to the store in 3 hours, grabbing a DSi XL instead (He wasn't exactly enamoured by any of the other new features over the £100 less XL).

This is what annoys the hell out of me. The publishers still pander to the retailers even as the retailers completely downsize and screw over PC games in store. In the UK, theres one display of 3 for a Tenner games (Stuff like Diablo and Fallout), and then 2 shelves of new recent PC games, at the back corner of the

While I'd usually agree, have you tried Saints Row 2 on PC? Its a horrible, buggy ported mess.

Completely agree. A lot of the time, I won't even bother touching the multiplayer menu option in games since I've always enjoyed singleplayer games more. There are a few games that are the exception to this (Battlefield games will always get my attention, AC:Brotherhoods multiplayer was so different it interested me

Agreed. I've been really looking forward to Homefront, but didn't really give two shits about the multiplayer. Finding out now that the singleplayer is absolutely gimped and only advertised as 5 hours long (So should easily be finishable in 3) and all the efforts been put into MP has seriously soured my desire for it,

Its weird, he keeps popping up in all the stuff I'm watching. Just saw the Blitz episode of How I Met Your Mother recently, which was fantastic.

There was an epilogue with him back on Earth, as he was transported off the Sphere. I really need to play that game again, it was awesome.

I managed to freeze frame it at that point, looks like its just meant to be the end of a film roll, white with what looks like burn marks on it.

Except going by this you didn't. You paid for stuff that Sony own and can take away from you at any time.

Hmm, will have to check if my router will let anything through without encryption. Always been a bit wary of MAC spoofing though.

Ah nice, didn't realise normal DS games could have WPA, thought it was just DSi only software. Still, a pain as I've only got a DS Lite :\

Not even that good. The DS only uses WEP which is a pain if you've only got a router set up for WPA and don't want to open up to 10 second hacks.

Test footage. Usually they haven't got any music sorted since its just a way to show the studio what it will eventually be like, they'll use suitable music from another film or tv show for example. Why a WB test has Disney music though is a mystery.
