Patty Jenkins be walking into the Warner Bros boardroom like

“it’s cool to hate America these days”

Nice article you have there.

I’m not used to the Browns making smart decisions. This new world is terrifying and confusing. Someone hold me.

I would agree that X-Men is not a reasonable model for the Avengers/JL. First, because the identity of the X-Men is inherently a team identity - apart from Logan, how many of the X-Men tend to get their own series? Compare with the Avengers or the JL, whose members generally have strongly established individual

It’s interesting that the pairing already happened before the announcement, considering how different Whedon and Snyder’s writing and filmmaking styles are. It could result It looks like they’re committed to keeping Snyder’s vision intact for Justice League,

“My point isn’t on the benefits of that but the cost of excluding others.”

I watched the trailer for The Orville, and mehed. I watched the trailer for Ghosted, and mehed. I compared io9's writeups of each.

You rock, Rae! Much thanks :)

If your main character is James Bond it’s not the fault of the audience for being disappointed when you tell a John LeCarre story. If you want to tell a John Le Carre story then you use George Smiley, not James Bond.

I saw it as they were stuffy and uptight only when there were any non-Sovereign around, but amongst themselves they did have individual personalities and less formality.
