Right?! And everything he does creatively - he’s surprisingly busy - he does because it’s what he wants to do. He does them super cheap, hires people who *want* to be a part of the projects, and everyone involved gives ZERO fucks about what other people think.

Yeah...that’s not entirely accurate. Weed and movies, absolutely, but he has actually been working on projects. Small projects, sure, but he’s okay with that. He’s living his best life. I’d say listen to Smodcast but that’s obviously not going to happen.

McGovern lost in a landslide to Nixon during the height of the Watergate Information Break. There are more successful outsider stories, like our current president.

I agree he was a good president and an even better human being. However, his presidency led to the two-term Reagan and is now oft-cited as the worst worst president in history. So maybe he isn’t the BEST example of an outsider being successful, ya know?

Actually, people too young to remember Obama’s 2008 campaign are the only voters I can understand feeling the Bern. I’m 39.
