the first three it told me to be: a Choreographer (but I don't like dance), a Music Director/Composer, and an Art Director.

For 20-odd years I dabbled in graphic arts, taking a 5-year aside to pursue a career in music. I played in a band, and when that eventually imploded, I swore off modern music for a long time. I

Large floppy discs that only held very minimal amounts of information and cassette tapes are among the first pieces of physical media I used as well. The IBM clone I used at my father's work used 8" discs. If I were to guess, they held maybe 256k max? They also had 5" disc slots on some machines.

I like your subtle hint that the video has crappy audio.

I'm with you. The first computers I used were all text based. I didn't get to use a GUI-based system until the late 1980s.

This is 100% correct - we are our own critics, while she was bullied into making a change. I think the difference for me is that I'd rather not risk getting harassed in the first place. Now, I'm not exactly rotund, but I know I'm not in the right shape to portray the character well enough. It's a dual serving purpose

One major piece of artillery from the anti-D&D camp: Jack Chick. He used his talents to openly slam D&D via his comic book styled "tracts;" Stories which were supposed to teach Christians lessons based on Biblical teachings. Instead he twisted them into hate-and-fear mongering diatribes against anything he felt

I get where she's coming from. I refuse to invest time & money into a Rorschach costume until I lose ~50 lbs. That's just all there is to it. I won't do justice to the character in my current condition.

Kept a private blog for a long time while I was going through a lot of bad stuff. Didn't realize just how bad it all was until about 2 years into it. The change came when I wanted to ditch my website host, who was also the blog host. I read back on the blog, realized just how bad things were. Decided to firebomb the

This backfired with my step-sister. They signed her up for karate and soccer. Karate was a McDojo and soccer was 'everybody gets a trophy' sports. She became an over competitive little bitch who quits at the first sign of a real challenge.

I'm no stranger to Text Adventures. I used to play them in the late 1980s, then MUDs in the early 1990s. This game... This game is a nightmare. Frustrating beyond belief. I just fired it up for the first time in decades and I can't for the life of me pick up the screwdriver and toothbrush in the very first room!

To give you an idea of how nuts that is (for a piece of entertainment memorabilia): I have Shards of Narsil (the broken sword from LOTR). It was a limited run. I paid $250. (Image attached for reference, that's not mine)

As a father of a 1-year-old, I fall into that category.

I used to think the world was made up of two types of people: Those who play games, and those who do not. I thought the rift that divided them was purely interest.

For those on TWC, OnDemand (also the iOS app) offers most of these shows as well, but they are riddled with commercials. I attempted to watch Series 7 of Doctor Who through the TWC app and only made it about 10 minutes.

Anyone find a shot of those crying koalas? That sounds hilarious, and somewhat fitting for me to most here at work since some websites I used to frequent now apparently been banned overnight.

Detroit.

Really liked the nod to 7th Guest/Phantasmagoria at around 1m:45s. The graphics and music were spot on.
