Beating a dead horse, but any car that is a good driver that passes inspection for $3500 is a GP in todays used car market. Plus a fun project, this has a clean body ... whats not to like?

Good choice, even better is a 9-5 Sportcombi!

Hate to be the wet blanket here, but the first gen xB is really poor in the side impact crash tests. I mean better than the MG, but you’ve got kids. Now is the time you need to prioritize safety. Keep the MG for the weekends, get the fun sedan for the weekdays.

Most European cars are designed with the European/Asian/African continental plates in mind, so it doesn’t look out of place. The Americas plates are more square and taller, so they just always look awkward. I think that is why we all hate the front plates on our car. Personally if we had euro-style plates here I

Had the same thoughts, and trash in the back seat.

I’ve said this before, but anything under $3500 that runs and drives and is inspectable (after windshield replacement) is a nice price.

I gotta remember to stay off Jalopnik until the rebroadcasts.

Damn, Audi makes such a good-looking estate car. Damn you for not offering it here!

Now playing

Good to see Peugeot making some sporty looking cars.

Came here for this, left satisfied.

Love it, loads allot faster on my older mac laptop too!

Its funny a friend and I sent this in for a NP or CP candidate. I mean, I dont think the ad poster really understands the definition of chassis, because suspension isn’t really all that it is. Its the the car/frame. Also loved the snarky “I know what I have” attitude in the ad.

Its hard to find anything that is inspection sticker (or SMOG ready) on craigslist for less than $3500 that you can hop in and drive home. So that alone is NP.

Renault gonna Renault.

I remember having a choice between a Nissan Altima and a Hyundai Sonata... I asked the lady at the rental counter which was better. Her response - “well personally I think Nissans are really boring...” Thanks, I took the Hyundai. I have to say the Hyundai Sonata was a decent car. Drove a Versa on a couple of hour

I’ve sold too many of my hoopties on craigslist, the one thing I have learned that is any hint of a modification makes your car oh so much harder to sell. Especially non-factory spec wheels. Maybe ok to sell on an enthusiast forum, but craigslist? You’re got Joe Smith and Linda Smith who just want a Lexus to take from

Hah! I’ve honestly been pitching buying a new Odyssey to replace our Pilot so this is from a Odyssey fan here. I think fun is more of what it offers inside and the peace factor with kids. I like my Pilot, and my car friends roll their eyes at me, but the Odyssey does it better. But like the Pilot, I never reach for

Have my star!

I think the fun part is yelling at them through the intercom system and spying on their antics with the night vision included on the top trims. I’m saying this as a dad of two kids, the Odyssey has allot of appeal. But that Jaaaaaag!
