For me, Its not about numbers or specs, or whatever. I actually really enjoy modulating the clutch and rowing the gears. Yes even in traffic. It just makes me feel more “one with the machine” in a sense.

The transmission interlock could be tied to the key in some cars so maybe. Im sure in plenty of cars all you need to do is just step on the brake and shift to neutral though.

You can break into the car, but you can’t steal it. this is just a remote fob hack, not an immobilizer hack.

That stuff works for cars pre-2005, at least with Audi A4s. So b6-gen and before. My b7 uses IMMO4 which has some component protection system built into the components themselves (the Cluster and ECU) so simply extracting the SKC doesn’t do much for you.
