They’re probably upset about the fact that Chani is played by a woman of color, even though Dune is set tens of thousands of years in the future and it’s not really clear if anyone in the books is even “white,” seeing as how the civilization is a blend of dozens of Earth cultures removed from their home planet by

... and cue the butt-hurt white dudebro fanboys about changing the gender of a character where a: it makes zero difference to the character but b: makes a huge difference in representation on the screen, which far outweighs the need for “fidelity” here.

I love Deep Dive. I just watched the MegaShark vs Giant Octopus episode and it was everything. Also, I love that Mikey dressed like Spike for the Queen of the Damned episode.

Also just everything Deep Dive related which is all about finding something to love even with movies people think are terrible.

I miss Every Frame a Painting.

In short: there aren’t real heroes in war. Or rather, the real heroes are the ones fighting for their (and their loved ones’) lives, not the ones calling the shots.

Hindsight being what it is, you could not introduce the character any more perfectly, because she does go on one of the greatest arcs in all of SW.

If a “true Star Wars fan” made any Star Wars movie or TV show, 9/10 it would be 3 hours or lightsaber battles on top of X-Wings while battling TIE Fighters over the Death Star 4 with while a charming thief and a Wookie steal the plans for the DS4. Meanwhile, a beautiful princess is being held hostage by a bad dude

Also also . the Enterprise episodes Affliction and Divergence explain why the the original series Klingons look like they did , (for the record both O’Brien and Bashir guessed right)

Space Marines attack a ship of rebels. Space Marines kill rebels. Space Marines find weird orb thing, might be an alien gizmo or a Chaos artifact. Inquisitor hooks himself up to another (Maybe) orb thing elsewhere. Inquisitor gets possessed by a daemon through the orb thing. Inquisitor gets put down. Space Marines

I found it immensely disappointing, considering it’s one of my all-time favourite books. Everything with Tennant and Sheen was absolute gold, and their chemistry was off the scale, but everything else felt flat and half-assed.

The only movie I have not seen on this amazing list is”Return to Oz.”

How about:

The Glaive is one of fantasy’s coolest weapons.

Shame to miss out on Krull.

Hawk the Slayer is the best 80s fantasy movie clearly based on a 7th grade D&D campaign.
