So, I ask myself — would the 10 year old version of me — who loved every iteration of Trek from Kirk to Janeway — enjoy this Pixar-sprinkled version supposedly “appropriate” for my age group? At least this and the other prequel films created a rich Star Wars backstory that was explored in the Clone Wars series. Because of that show, I can’t hate these movies too much. Daresay I’ve grown to enjoy them.
