Is it worth getting for the PS4, or should I wait for the PS5? This game is mostly the reason why I’m tempted with overpriced Ebay scalpers. But, if there’s little difference between the two versions, I see no need to rush getting a PS5.

I was tempted with a Buy It Now PS5 on EBay for $999. I mean, it wouldn’t be the end of the world, just a few hundred more dollars. But, then I watched this YouTube video showing the PS4 and PS5 versions of ACV side-by-side and the spell was broken. Not going to spend extra money for some slightly better looking mud…
Yes -- Temuera looks almost as crazy as Klaus Kinski
The costume -- it was always the costume. A mixture of ancient Sparta, sci-fi aesthetic, and US Marine (the green and brown camo). It was nice to see that he at least became proficient with fighting sticks. Maybe he won’t get slapped in the back with one the next time.
Not to body shame Boba, but it was kind of amusing to see the armor straining against his gut — all muscle though, I’m sure.
I can imagine Kratos’ son accidentally spending thousands of dollars on Fortnite transactions.
This just feels wrong in a lot of ways. Crowdfund a house just to put some money into the hands of people who have nothing to do with Tolkien? Not like this project is being put forward by his estate. The project is led by a British author who started a “non-profit” group to purchase the house once it went on the…
Because of scalper bots (and retailers’ disinterest in keeping them away), I don’t expect to get a PS5 at retail price until the middle of ‘21. In a way, it’s good to save my money because it’s not like there’s actually any new games available as most upcoming releases will also launch on PS4. Still, those new…
It’s clearly a Festivus Pole, the only holiday we need to air our grievances over 2020.
Not surprised this was last minute. New Time Lord characters are great. Even a mystery where someone thinks she’s the Doctor, but actually isn’t is a fun mystery (see: The Next Doctor Tennant Christmas episode).
It’s less about her reluctance to train and more about her not acknowledging how bad it would be if the Empire got their hands on him. Ashoka is the only person Mando met aside from the bad guys who could understand why he’s so important. You’d think she’d realize the danger. Baby Yoda doesn’t necessarily need…
And neither manufacturers nor retailers are acknowledging that fact. They’re treating it as an expected holiday rush and don’t seem interested in creating online safe guards. I don’t think it will be possible to get consoles until the end of 2021 unless actions are taken.
What I find interesting is that Baby Yoda is far less important than the entire series has so far led us to believe. Ashoka isn’t too interested in him — after apparently getting his entire life story through a Jedi mind meld — Ashoka simply shoos him away and tells Mando to figure it out.
Also — make it impossible for scalper bots to order systems. I wouldn’t mind if they were being sold out to people. But, it feels very wrong that a significant chunk of systems are going to scalpers who have programs that allow bots to bypass websites and place near instantaneous orders.
As much as a fan I am of the animated series, I agree with you. If I wasn’t familiar with them, I’d have no idea what’s going on, and reading a Wiki plot summary of the cartoons wouldn’t help.
While I’m not expecting Kyle Katarn to show up it would be great if Ashoka can say his famous line, ideally when she and Mando enter some seedy space bar — I’m no Jedi. I’m just a guy with a lightsaber and a few questions.
This article makes me think about Superman, who had about the same gaming history until developers suddenly stopped trying. I think a good Superman game is still possible.
Glad to see the Vulcans are returning. Maybe it will mean there’ll be less crying — but, I doubt it. I think the show is contractually obligated to have at least three crying scenes per episode.
It’s from Gap!
I never got a cool helmet, just Bjorn as a ship companion. Is that a glitch?
