I never understood the notch rage. I just viewed it as two more areas that could show information. Batter life, date and time all show in the areas around the notch.
I wanted to see package thieves getting glitter- and stink-bombed and I got just that. This is much more an editing snafu than a fail at being honest.

How is this a scandal? The feature is completely defeatable. This isn’t just an issue on iPhones. Other devices have random shutdowns when the batteries get old too. Apple is just one of the first companies that have addressed this issue in software.

Smartthings has been my hub of choice, and it plays very well with Alexa. For lighting, I personally prefer to install Z-wave wall switches rather than smart bulbs, but to each their own.
And if your cat -really- trusts you when you hold them like this, their spine disintegrates completely and they turn into kitty putty which is, frankly, magic.
