For me I’d modify one or buy one modified, and I think the upper end of gorgeousness is higher with the Supra with a tasteful bodykit. The 300ZX looks cool, some days I see it and it still looks new, some days I see it and it looks like retro futurism. I love them both and with infinite money I’d buy all 4 of these…

You pretty much nailed my thinking on it. Batteries will keep getting cheaper and better, they really don’t have to be perfect to cross the threshold of satisfying a ton of buyers. Governments keep pushing against ICE engines and sooner or later the tipping point will occur. It’s a shame in some ways but necessary…

I see no point. This is like the stock Supras that they’re asking a ton for: it’s not that special stock. It’s a modding platform and if you don’t mod it, it’s not fun. If BMW didn’t start the corporate grill fad they certainly popularized it. It would be great to see them kill it, too, which this monster grill might do. I like cars to be unique designs, not variations on one design. Or even if they are variations on one design, let there be more outlier models that break the mold…

Agreed. The corporate grill thing needs to end. The grill on this leaf isn’t nice enough for multiple cars. Don’t know what benefit these companies think they’re getting out of a standardized grill, but it sucks.

The new Leaf is more anonymous, less ugly. Probably the best you could hope for.

Good aftermarket exhaust can sound wonderful, but 9 times out of 10 it’s some dumbass in a cut springs Honda with some doofy Ebay exhaust on there that sounds like a weed whacker, or a Harley douche who thinks the point is to be incredibly loud rather than sound good or improve performance.

Wings are good and Kristen is good. Even just a little lip spoiler/wing that does practically nothing is good for style points, just don’t get too crazy unless the car has the power to back it up.
