I don’t know how close it came to production, but GMC thought hard enough about a second-generation Typhoon that it put this concept together in 1998. The drivetrain details may have been lost to time, but I do know that we’d all be better off if this thing got built, no matter what’s under the hood.

French coachbuilder Heuliez thought that the Citroén SM could be improved by adding louvers to the rear window and chopping some big chunks out of the roof to make a T-top. I think they were on to something.

This positively porcine first-generation Ford Transit looks a lot like the Volvo 164 that was on sale at the same time. At least it does to me. .Fine looking van in any case.
