There's never any logic when it comes to what is/isn't acceptable for a proper young lady. But from what I gathered growing up, there were a couple of reasons.

My Mom was an old school type of housewife. She was a virgin when she married my Dad at the age of 17(mid-60’s), eventually raising 5 kids while our Dad worked as the sole breadwinner.

When taking about myself, I said no one has the right to know what my sexual tastes are. I was not referring to cheating. And this SO I’m referring to is a hypothetical SO.

Anecdotal statements do not make something fact just because you say so. I’ve signed up for many adult sites in my lifetime, AFF, CL, and others. And despite not being married I’ve tried AM too. Many single women like dating married men.

Please take what I’m about to ask with all the sincerity I have to offer. It’s great that she’s gained enough insight to know & accept who she really is, and strong enough to transition publicly.
