Thanks for the encouragement. This explains why some sidequest were very difficult if not impossible my first playthrough. Compounding the issue is other games and the sepia overtones of this game.

I gave up on this game. I finished it it once and I feel it is over. I know it is not but I dislike replaying the game again. 

C64 was amazing to me. A computer like the ones on school but it can play games and I am not in the computer lab? 

There seems to be a one wish limit. Max keeps asking his employees if they made a wish and dismisses them if they have. I can only guess that one wish with the stone and another with Max.

There are so many plot holes. How did Barbara get two wishes? What did Barbara lose? Her personality? Her lack of friends? Why does Steve not know what an escalator is? They were invented in the 1800's? 

They could make Barbara obsessed with finding more magical artifacts and reclaiming powers and blaming Diana. Completing her Lex Luthor makeover.
